Waddle's World

Where did that come from?

After the first 30 minutes Sunday night I was ready to call an end to the 2007 season. After the 2nd half and a 27-20 victory, Im ready to gas up the bandwagon! What a difference a half makes. The amazing comeback has saved this season, for the time being. There is an enourmous difference between 1 and 4 and 2 and 3. In fact, its the difference between being 4 games back in the the division and just 2 games back. What a courageous 2nd half effort by that defense. After giving up 340 yards in the first half, they stiffened their spines and played with the pride that helped take them to the Super Bowl last year. And how about the improved quarterback play. Brian Griese not only managed the offense, he came up with big throws in crunch time. The committment to the running game also made a huge differnce. Overall, this was a season changing victory....if they build on it Sunday against the Vikings. A win on the lakefront gets them to 3 and 3 and right back in this thing. A loss and they will waste any momentum created in the second half last Sunday night. Hang on, its gonna be an exciting ride over the next few weeks!

I am done booing Grossman and have started cheering Griese. That guy is an all-pro. To be fair, he played a pretty good game against Green Bay.
