Not sure how it happened, but Im glad it played out the way it did! Felt a little like 2006, didnt it? Just when you were ready to bury them, they do the unthinkable and stay alive! Thank goodness for Devin Hester and a couple of well timed, well orchestrated Rex Grossman drives. Dont get me wrong, I have no delusional hopes of a Bears sprint to the post season, but at least theyre in the mix! Now, if they can only solve all their defensive problems, find a running back who can average better than 3 and a half yards per carry, and find a right tackle who can protect the quarterback. Then we can compete with the Cowboys and Packers! Wait, our guys beat the Packers in Green Bay, right? Next up, a Giants team that is starting to show cracks in their foundation. A win next Sunday, the Bears get to .500, and then I will allow myself to start thinking about the post season. Until then, I'd just like to see them win 2 in a row!
