Office sought: Lakemoor Village President
Bio: Small business owner of a Snap-On Tools franchise; Lakemoor board of trustees for the past 12 years; Lakemoor Dollars for Scholars scholarship organization – chapter president and co-founder.

1) What are your top priorities?
I’d like to see more business developments come into Lakemoor. Also, I plan to continue to work on needed improvements in the Kirk/Pines subdivision. Finally, I plan on keeping the village budget in line with our income.
2) Last year Lakemoor police blocked the entrance of property to ensure that a three-day event planned by Robert Mauch did not occur. Was the action taken by the village appropriate?
Yes, it was an inappropriate location for that size and type of party.
3) What should be Lakemoor’s direction on growth matters? Should commercial development be a priority for the village?
Commercial development should absolutely be a priority for the village. It is one of my top priorities. New business growth means more sales tax revenue for the village and that means an increase in services to homeowners without raising their taxes.
4) Why are you seeking public office?
I am seeking public office because I feel I know the community well, having lived here for the past 32 years, and I have the best interests of the Village of Lakemoor at heart. I have the experience of being on the board of trustees, and I’d like to continue to give back to the community by serving as village president.
5) Why are you the best person for the office that you are seeking?
I have many good qualities for holding an important public office such as this one - honesty, integrity, and strong leadership skills, as well as a willingness to work with others, even when we don’t see eye to eye.
